Three men have been charged with murder after human remains were discovered in a Dorset wood. Three men have appeared in court accused of murder after human remains were found in a Dorset wood.
Police said they were unable to identify the body discovered in Lytchett Matravers but the remains were found during their investigation into the disappearance of Geoffrey Reed. The men appeared before magistrates in Bournemouth charged with the murder of Geoffrey Reed, 57.
Stuart Wareham, 25, of Bournemouth, and Lee Wareham, 32, and Benjamin Walter, 21, both of no fixed address, were remanded in custody.
All three are scheduled to appear before Winchester Crown Court later this month.
Police said the remains were found in woodland at Lytchett Matravers during their investigation into the disappearance of Mr Reed.

The men are Stuart Raymond Wareham, 25, of Bournemouth, and Lee Raymond Wareham, 32, and Benjamin Henry Walter, 21, both of no fixed abode.
They are due to appear before Bournemouth magistrates on Friday morning.
Police had sealed off an area of Lytchett Matravers woodland as part of their investigation into the disappearance of Mr Reed, described as "completely out of character".
The 57-year-old Bournemouth man has not been seen since 7 June.
