Supermarket chain Kwik Save has gone into administration. The administrators of supermarket chain Kwik Save say they are "confident" of completing a rescue package that will save 56 of the firm's stores.
The company, which used to be owned by Somerfield, will close 90 stores, with another 56 due to be rebranded as Fresh Express stores. KPMG said that salvaging the outlets, expected to be rebranded as Fresh Express, would secure about 600 jobs.
