Wales' new assembly government has been warned of potential pitfalls as talks begin on choosing a coalition cabinet. Talks over a coalition Cabinet are likely to be suspended after First Minister Rhodri Morgan was treated in hospital for stomach problems.
Labour First Minister Rhodri Morgan and Plaid leader Ieuan Wyn Jones are discussing how many cabinet seats - and which posts - Plaid will fill. Mr Morgan, 67, spent the night in hospital after becoming ill on Sunday, a spokesman confirmed.
But ex-Plaid leader Dafydd Wigley asked whether the money would be there to meet the promises in the agreement. The Labour leader has undergone tests and had a gastric problems and is due to be discharged later, he said.
It is not clear if Mr Morgan will be well enough hold talks on choosing a new Cabinet with Plaid Cymru.
Labour and Plaid are to enter a coalition government after both parties voted for the move at the weekend.
