Mr Barker has had small parts in films such as Shakespeare in Love and Tomorrow Never Dies. He has also appeared in several TV programmes. He was first arrested in June 2003 and released on bail until the following year but failed to return. His father died in 2005 aged 76.

Officers said they would allow him to attend his father's funeral that year if he handed himself in but he did not appear.
He was originally arrested in a police crackdown on internet child porn, codenamed Operation Ore.
