"All victims were swept away by the landslide while they were sleeping," a police officer said, the Reuters news agency reports. The landslide occurred in the village of Gwalichour in the Baglung district. Rescue workers have been sent to the area with supplies for survivors. Floods and landslides are common in Nepal during the monsoon season. |
