A woman has died in a house fire in Sandycroft, Flintshire. A house fire which killed a woman in Flintshire was caused by "smoking material" left on a sofa, firefighters believe.
Firefighters were called to the house in Burnsdale Court, Deeside, at about 1500 BST on Sunday, after receiving a request from the ambulance service. The woman died after the blaze at a house in Burnsdale Court in Sandycroft, Flintshire, on Sunday.
North Wales Fire said there was a "slow burning" fire in the living room and smoke damage to other rooms. Firefighters were called to the house at about 1500 BST, after receiving a request from the ambulance service.
