'Credit cards'
The officers have since been told by the Cleveland Police Authority they will not face criminal charges over the accusations, although decisions are yet to be made on a further nine matters pending the outcome of a wider criminal investigation.The officers have since been told by the Cleveland Police Authority they will not face criminal charges over the accusations, although decisions are yet to be made on a further nine matters pending the outcome of a wider criminal investigation.
A spokesman for the IPCC said: "The decision to put the officers before a hearing relates to an investigation into a range of conduct allegations including matters relating to the misuse of public funds and the misuse of corporate credit cards.
"The investigation findings were shared with the Crown Prosecution Service which concluded there was insufficient evidence to bring criminal charges."
One of the allegations that Mr Price faces, is that he used undue influence to get his former boss, Dave McLuckie's daughter a job in 2008.
Earlier this month Cleveland Police Authority also revealed that it was not renewing Mr Price's contract which is due to end in March 2013.
The authority said it would begin looking for a new chief constable in November.
