The M25 motorway is closed clockwise in Kent and Surrey after a crash, the Highways Agency has said. A section of the M25 motorway has been closed in Kent after two accidents within 35 minutes.
The accident happened on the clockwise carriageway at junction five, near Sevenoaks. The M26 was also closed to allow an air ambulance to attend. Kent Police said the first, involving one vehicle, happened at junction five near South Chevening at 13:40 BST. One person received a minor injury.
The M25 is closed between junction five and junction six for Godstone, with traffic building up to junction four. In the second accident, a pedestrian at the scene was hit by a car.
The Highways Agency said it was expected to remain closed until 21:00 BST while investigations take place. The M25 clockwise is expected to be closed for several hours between junction four for Orpington and junction five for Sevenoaks.
Traffic is being diverted via the A21 and A25. Traffic is being diverted via the A21 slip road.
Police said both carriageways of the M26 were temporarily closed to allow an air ambulance to attend. It reopened at 15:50.
