At least one person has been killed and several others injured in a suspected car bomb attack in the centre of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, reports say. A car bomb blast has killed at least two people in the centre of Beirut, Lebanese security sources say.
The explosion badly damaged several buildings in Sassine Square, in the city's Ashrafiya district. It is not clear if an individual was targeted. About 15 people are also reported to have been wounded in the explosion in Sassine Square, a busy part of the city's eastern Ashrafiya district.
