Murder detectives have released three teenagers questioned over the death of a lorry driver in Northamptonshire.

Laurence Leonard McCourt, 68, from Sandwell, West Midlands, died when his lorry collided with a crash barrier on the A45 on Friday morning.

Police found debris in his cab. It is believed an object was thrown from a bridge as the lorry passed underneath.

Two boys aged 14 and 15 have been freed on police bail while a 16-year-old boy was earlier released without charge.

All three had been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A post-mortem examination has established that Mr McCourt died as a result of impact injuries caused by building materials.

Officers earlier appealed for drivers who may have seen anyone on the bridge at about 0400 BST to contact them.
