A major air and sea rescue operation is under way for a diver missing off the coast of County Donegal. A major sea search for a diver missing at Horn Head off the County Donegal coast is continuing.
The man was reported missing 16 miles north of Horn Head, beyond Tory Island in the Atlantic Ocean, at 1430 BST. Two lifeboats, two helicopters and other vessels were involved in the operation 16 miles north-west of Tory Island in the Atlantic Ocean.
Malin Head Coastguard said 10 boats are involved in the search, including two lifeboats and the Scottish fisheries protection boat, Norna. The alarm was raised when the diver did not resurface on Saturday afternoon.
