A man is thought to have been electrocuted at a Marks and Spencer store in Kent, police have said. Police are treating the death of a man who was electrocuted at a Marks and Spencer store in Kent as suspicious.

Kent Police said there would be an investigation by the Health and Safety Executive. Police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death at this stage.
They said electrocution was the suspected cause of death, though a post-mortem examination would be carried out to confirm the cause. A Kent Police spokeswoman said: "It is believed that the man suffered an electric shock and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known whether the man was a visitor to the store or a staff member. "It is being treated as a suspicious death until the full circumstances are known."
Next of kin
The spokeswoman said police were called by paramedics from the South East Coast ambulance service who arrived at the scene first.
Police have not disclosed the man's age but they said he was not a member of the public. His next of kin were being informed, the spokeswoman said.
She said an area of the store remained sealed off.
Police said there would be an investigation by the Health and Safety Executive.
The Royal Victoria Place shopping centre declined to comment on the incident.
