Philpott children fire deaths: Paul Mosley murder charges | |

A man has appeared in court charged with the murders of six children who died in a house fire in Derby. | |
Paul Mosley, 45, of Cecil Street, Derby, was remanded into custody at the city's magistrates' court. | |
Jade Philpott, 10, brothers John, nine, Jack, eight, Jessie, six, and Jayden, five, died in the fire in May. Duwayne, 13, died three days later. | |
The children's parents, Mick Philpott, 55, and wife Mairead, 31, have previously been charged with murder. | |
The blaze broke out in Victory Road, Allenton, on 11 May. | |
Mr Mosley, who was arrested on Monday, will appear with Mr and Mrs Philpott at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday. | |
A 49-year-old man who was arrested alongside Mr Mosley has been released without charge. | |
Assistant Chief Constable Steve Cotterill said: "Our investigation will continue in an effort to gain justice for these children." | |
