The fall has closed the East Mall of the shopping centre. The incident shut the East Mall of the shopping centre, but it has since reopened.

The area opened about one hour later, but a small section remained cordoned off by police tape.
A woman who had been in one of the restaurants on the ground floor at the time said: "Staff were very slick and very quick and explained what they wanted us to do.
"They acted professionally to maintain the dignity of the person involved."
