An appeal was also made to trace a 16-year-old girl who had been seen with Bailey who was later found safe and well. "This murder appeared to be fuelled by possessiveness of his girlfriend and jealousy of her apparently just communicating with other male friends on Facebook.
"I am grateful to Simon Warton's family for their strength and support during this case."
