A cyclist has been killed in a collision with a lorry in east London. A lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing the death of a cyclist by dangerous driving.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene on Commercial Road, Stepney, shortly before 08:30 GMT. The cyclist, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene on Commercial Road, in Stepney, in east London, shortly before 08:30 GMT.
His family have not yet been told of his death. The road is closed in both directions near the junction with Arbour Square. A force spokesman said the lorry driver stopped at the scene and was in custody at an east London police station.
