The two-day hearing at Bournemouth Coroners' Court is taking place after the Military Aviation Authority completed its independent inquiry. Among the witnesses at the inquest will be Flt Lt Egging's wife, Dr Emma Egging, and his team mate Flt Lt Chris Lyndon-Smith.
A memorial to Flt Lt Egging, designed by local school children, has been installed in the town's East Overcliff. The two-day hearing at Bournemouth Coroner's Court is taking place after the Military Aviation Authority completed its independent inquiry.
