Police investigating the death of a 60-year-old man in County Tyrone have launched a murder inquiry. The man who was found dead in County Tyrone at the weekend was Aloysius Hackett.

The dead man's name has not been released and police have not released any details about how he was killed. Mr Hackett, who was a joiner, was heavily involved in his local GAA club and was also a Eucharistic minister.
Ulster Unionist councillor Allan Rainey said the death had "shocked and numbed" the community. Canon Lawrence Dawson, who has been supporting the Hackett family, said: "They're manfully trying to cope with huge grief and relying on their faith to pull them through.
"They just can't really take it in that something of this nature could happen," he said. "It is only faith and prayer that can bring them through a situation like this as they try to see some light.
"They're grasping at some possible hopes that there can be some explanation."
