The blaze is believed to have started at about 11:20 GMT and a cloud of smoke can be seen for miles around. Five men suffered smoke inhalation, with three treated at the scene and two taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "It's believed the warehouse may contain cylinders. Some road closures are in place." The fire is believed to have started at about 11:20 GMT. A cloud of smoke could be seen for miles around.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze was extinguished at about 12:51 GMT but crews remained at the scene to check for hotspots.
