Grampian Police said it was a "horrendous" attack and appealed for anyone who saw the dark-coloured car involved to contact them. Mrs Blair told BBC Scotland: "I still cannot see out of my eye. These kids have got to realise what kind of damage they can do."
The attack happened at the rear of the theatre near the Denburn car park on Tuesday night.
'Stupid prank'
Mrs Blair said: "There was a car with youths in it and they were all shouting and waving out the window.
"I turned round and all of a sudden I felt this object hit my eye."
Mrs Blair said she was taken to hospital to have shell removed from her eye and still does not know what the long term damage could be.
She said: "Hopefully publicity will bring witnesses forward. It was a stupid prank."
Grampian Police said it was a "reckless" attack and appealed for anyone who saw the dark-coloured car involved to contact them.
