A soldier has been found dead in the Brecon Beacons in Powys. A soldier has died on a mountain in the Brecon Beacons in Powys, police have confirmed.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the "sudden death" was reported to them at 21:42 GMT on Saturday.
The force added that the soldier died on Corn Du, the second highest peak in south Wales, which is next to Pen y Fan, the highest.
