Version 0 of 1.

A nationwide search is under way to find two convicted sex offenders who pose a danger to children.

Joseph Taylor, 27, and William Bailey, 58, were recently released from prison and are known to have links with North Yorkshire and Essex.

They absconded from addresses in Rotherham and York on Monday and were last seen at Sheffield railway station.

Police say they pose a high risk to the public, especially to children, and ask people to be vigilant.

Taylor is described as 5ft 5ins to 5ft 8ins with short, straight, dark hair, Hispanic in appearance and quietly spoken.

Bailey is described as 5ft 5ins tall with short grey-white hair, of slim build and with a pale complexion.

Det Ch Insp Terry Mann, of South Yorkshire Police, said: "There is no intelligence to suggest these men have gone missing in order to commit offences, but clearly we are concerned and want to trace them.

"A significant operation is under way and we would be grateful for public vigilance and support."
