A body found on farmland is that of a man from Dunbartonshire, in Scotland, Nottinghamshire police believe. A body found on Nottinghamshire farmland has been formally identified as that of a man from Scotland.
Officers named him as Alan James Easton, 50, but said formal identification was yet to take place after problems tracing his next of kin. Police named the murder victim found in Everton on Saturday, as Alan James Easton, 50, from Dunbartonshire.
Three people were charged with murder on Thursday after the find in Everton in north Nottinghamshire on Saturday. Three people were taken into custody after appearing before magistrates.
A 47-year-old woman and two men aged 22 and 31, from South Yorkshire will appear at magistrates court later. Angela Dowling, 47, and Stephen Schofield, 31, of Windmill Avenue, Conisbrough, South Yorks; and Matthew Duffy, 22, of Sussex Street, Doncaster, will appear at crown court on Monday.
