Fire crews are tackling a blaze which has broken out at a hotel building in the Highlands. Fire crews have been tackling a blaze which broke out at a hotel building in the Highlands.
Almost 50 firefighters are at the scene on Dingwall High Street along with eight fire tenders. Almost 50 firefighters were called out to the Royal Hotel on Dingwall High Street early on Monday.
It is understood that a number of people have been evacuated from properties in the immediate area around the Royal Hotel. A number of people were evacuated from the hotel, which is a homeless hostel. The impact on several businesses below the hostel is not yet clear.
