Vicky Williamson, 68, who lives opposite, returned to the spot where the accident happened to lay a floral tribute on Tuesday.
She said: "I heard the bang, and the noise, and screaming from the mother.

"I thought he would be all right, but then the police knocked on my door later, and told me he had died, and that made me so sad."
