The Royal Barbados Police said one man had been been charged over the shooting of the Priors and with robbery. Mrs Prior has been released from hospital, while her husband is reported to be in a "comfortable" condition. A police spokesman said: "Mr and Mrs Prior have been released from hospital. They are in fine spirits.
"They are preparing to leave or have left the island by now. I do not know their destination."
