Part of a building has collapsed in Sheffield city centre leading to the rescue of four people. Four people have been rescued after a three-storey building collapsed in Sheffield city centre.
Emergency services are at the scene in Brook Hill. The mid-terrace building, in Brook Hill, came down at about 14:30 GMT.
South Yorkshire Police said it was called at about 14:30 GMT to assist the fire service but was unable to give further details. South Yorkshire Fire Service confirmed the rescue and firefighters "have been checking no-one else has been trapped".
"A middle section of a row of shops, with flats above, has completely collapsed," a spokesman said. No-one is thought to have suffered any serious injuries.
