Two men whose bodies were found in a ditch died from stab wounds, a post-mortem examination has confirmed.

John Chapman and Lukasz Slaboszewski were found at Thorney Dyke in Cambridgeshire on Wednesday.

Their deaths have been linked to the murder of Kevin Lee, who was also found dead with stab wounds in Newborough, Cambridgeshire, last Saturday.

Five people have been arrested in connection with the triple murder inquiry.

Mr Lee, 48, Mr Chapman, 56, and Mr Slaboszewski, 31, are all from the Peterborough area.

Cambridgeshire Police confirmed two properties in the Peterborough area had been searched in relation to the triple murder.

On Friday officers cordoned off two homes, one in Rolleston Garth in Welland, and another in Bifield in Orton Goldhay.

A 36-year-old man charged with perverting the course of justice will appear at Peterborough Crown Court on 10 April, and two other men are on bail.
