An investigation has been launched after an NHS Grampian mortuary van was taken to a garage while a dead body was inside. | |
A member of staff has been suspended after the incident at AM Phillip in Aberdeen's Auchmill Road. | |
It is understood the van had been taken for a tail light repair by a hospital porter who did not know there was a body on board. | |
NHS Grampian issued an apology for the incident. | |
A spokesperson said: "This is a very serious incident and we are dealing with it as a matter of urgency. | |
