It is unclear what the man, who is understood to be disabled, was doing between the two huts. It is understood he was replacing a rotten plank at the bottom of the hut when he got stuck.
Essex Fire and Rescue said he had been there "for some time". He was conscious and breathing when emergency services arrived. Essex Fire and Rescue said the man, who got a leg wedged beneath the hut, had been there "for some time". He was freed shortly before 11:00 BST.

"There was no way that we could reach him in the position he was in so we used air bags to lift the hut up and move it 1ft (30cm)."
He was given the all clear by paramedics.
