Man dies after serious assault in Tilehurst

A man has died in hospital six days after being attacked in Berkshire.

Police were called to a fight involving up to 20 people in The Triangle, Tilehurst early on Sunday, 21 April.

A 52-year-old from Tilehurst was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with serious head injuries, police said.

A 26-year-old man from Reading appeared in court last Monday, charged with one count of wounding with intent following the fight.
