A man had a lucky escape when a car he was in went into the water at a Cornwall ferry slipway. A man is being treated in hospital after the car he was in went plunged off a slipway into the River Fowey.
The car went into the River Fowey at the Bodinnick Ferry crossing at about 21:40 BST. The man managed to swim to shore and was treated by paramedics before being taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske.
