Chelmsford murder inquiry over body at house

The body of a man has been found in a house in Chelmsford, sparking a murder inquiry by Essex Police.

The man, who has not been identified, was discovered in a property on Moulsham Street in the city centre.

Police said they were called to the premises at 00:30 BST.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned by detectives at Chelmsford police station, a spokesman said.
