A man died when he was hit by a coach in Lincolnshire.A man died when he was hit by a coach in Lincolnshire.
Lincolnshire Police said the man had been walking on the A16 at Cowbit when the accident happened at about 18:00 BST on Saturday. Lincolnshire Police said the man had been walking on the A16 at Cowbit when he was struck on Saturday evening.
It is thought the only person on board the coach at the time was the driver, a man, 62, from Surrey. Officers had appealed for help in identifying the man but have confirmed he was in his 20s and from the local area.
Officers said they were checking missing person reports to try to identify the dead man and have appealed for witnesses to come forward. A force spokesperson said no-one travelling on the coach had been injured but several passengers had to finish their journey by taxi.
He is described as about 6ft 4in tall with short brown hair and was wearing a grey tracksuit with yellow trainers.
