Two people have died when a speedboat flipped over in waters off Cornwall. Two people have died after a speedboat crashed off the north Cornish coast.
Four others were seriously injured in the crash in the Camel Estuary off Padstow in North Cornwall. Four others were seriously injured when they were thrown from the boat off Padstow harbour. They have been airlifted to hospital.
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency confirmed the injured people had been flown to Derrfiord Hospital in Plymouth for treatment. Children and adults suffered leg injuries of varying degrees of severity, John Oliver from South Western Ambulance Service said.
