Tanzania: Suspects in Church Blast Include 4 Saudis

Tanzanian authorities said Monday that they had arrested four men from Saudi Arabia and four Tanzanians in connection with the bombing of a Catholic church in the city of Arusha on Sunday that killed two people and wounded 60. Magesa Mulongo, a regional commissioner, said that the Saudis were detained late Sunday as they tried to cross the border into Kenya. Tanzania’s population includes large numbers of Muslims and Christians. |
