Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a shooting in the Harlesden area on Saturday. Police have named a man murdered in a shooting in Harlesden on Saturday.
They said they were called to an address at about 0800 BST to deal with reports of a firearms incident. They found the body of David Anthony Kerr, 22, from Harrow, in Chadwick Road, shortly before 0800BST.
They discovered a man aged between 18 and 25 who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. They said he was standing by Alfred Nunn House, a block of flats, and were keen to know why he was there at that time of day, as he lives some way away.
Detectives said the man had not been identified and next of kin had not been informed of his death. A post-mortem examination was being carried out. Detectives said Mr Kerr was a light-skinned black man, 5ft 9ins - 5ft 10ins tall. They believe his killer left the scene on foot.
