Ms Howes said numerous small spots of blood were found on a leather sofa in the living room but some samples were incomplete.
However, she said she was confident that blood tested from the middle seat was April's with a one-in-a-billion chance it was not.
There were also weak blood stains on both sides of the shower curtain in the bathroom, the court heard.
The witness said that in her opinion there was evidence that both April and Mr Bridger were "fully represented".
