Devlin detectives examining knife

Detectives investigating the murder of Thomas Devlin are examining a knife which was found in the Mount Vernon estate in north Belfast.

It was found behind a mission hall near the entrance of the estate at 1630 BST during a clean up of the area.

The knife will now undergo forensic analysis.

Thomas, 15, was stabbed to death close to his north Belfast home in August 2005. It is believed his killers came from the estate.
