An American man wanted on suspicion of murdering a family of four in the Czech Republic has been arrested at an airport in the United States. An American accused of murdering his relatives in the Czech Republic has been arrested at Dulles airport near Washington DC, the FBI has said.

Czech officials had warned that the American was "dangerous and possibly armed". They released a photo from the suspect's Facebook profile page which lists him as being from Palo Alto in California. According to legal papers filed in the US District Court for Eastern Virginia, Mr Dahlgren is accused of killing his relatives at their home in Brno on Tuesday or Wednesday, stabbing them in the head and neck.
The bodies were discovered after a fire broke out in their home. Rescuers called to the scene to tackle the blaze realised immediately that "a violent crime had likely been committed there," a spokesman for the firefighters said.
