Access to several UK museums, galleries and heritage sites may be affected this week due to industrial action. Workers at a number of UK museums, galleries and heritage sites have begun strike action in a row over jobs, pay and pensions.
The National and National Portrait Galleries have warned some of their rooms may be closed on Thursday. Half of the 66 rooms at London's National Gallery were closed on Thursday, while one floor of the National Portrait Gallery was closed.
