American officials on Wednesday provided new details about the two employees of the embassy in Caracas who were wounded in an early-morning shooting in a strip club on Tuesday. The State Department said that one of the men was a member of the United States armed services and the other was a civilian. Both men worked in the office of the defense attaché, but the State Department and the Department of Defense would not say what the men did there.
