Woman dies after falling from cliffs at Mwnt, Ceredigion

A woman has died after she fell from cliffs in Ceredigion.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the woman had fallen from "a considerable height" in Mwnt at about 13:15 BST on Friday.

Milford Haven Coastguard said a seven hour operation involving emergency services was launched, which ended on Friday evening.

The air ambulance, an RNLI lifeboat and an RAF helicopter were also involved, along with coastguard rescue teams from New Quay, Gwbert and Cardigan.

Dyfed-Powys Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
