The victim, who has not yet been named, was found in Londley Road, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, on Friday morning suffering from serious leg injuries. Father-of-two John Christopher Deakin was found in Londley Road, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, on Friday morning suffering from serious leg injuries.

Four men, aged 18, 29, 42 and 44,have been arrested over the death. Police have been given more time to question three men over his death.

A fourth man, 44, has been released and no further action will be taken against him.
