A man has died after getting into difficulty while swimming in south Devon.A man has died after getting into difficulty while swimming in south Devon.
The incident happened at Beesands beach near Kingsbridge. Police say they are no suspicious circumstances. The man, known to be a strong sea swimmer, was brought unconscious to shore with the help of a kayaker at Beesands near Kingsbridge.
A kayaker in the water helped to bring the man to shore on Saturday afternoon but he was unconscious.
