BBC broadcaster Stuart Hall who admitted indecently assaulting 13 girls, one aged nine, is due to be sentenced later. Stuart Hall abused his position as a BBC broadcaster to sexually abuse under age girls, Preston Crown Court heard.
Hall, 83, from Wilmslow, Cheshire, pleaded guilty to 14 offences which occurred between 1967 and 1985. Hall, who admitted indecently assaulting 13 girls, one aged nine, is due to be sentenced later.

One count of rape will lie on the court file. Prosecuting barrister Peter Wright QC said Hall's first victim was 16 at the time of the assault, in late 1967- early 1968.
'Disgraceful actions' She met Hall when he presented her with an award at a school prize-giving and he invited the girl to record some songs at the BBC studios in Piccadilly, Manchester.

The court was told Hall bought her a drink in a pub before sexually assaulting her in his car.
She burst into tears, telling her parents what had happened after Hall took her home.
Her angry father went to find Hall but he was nowhere to be seen. The family decided not to report the matter.

Retired High Court judge Dame Linda Dobbs will lead an investigation for the BBC into Hall's conduct at the corporation. One count of rape will lie on the court file.
At the time of the guilty pleas, a BBC spokesperson said the corporation was "appalled by the disgraceful actions of Stuart Hall".
Hall has been a familiar face and voice in British broadcasting for half a century, and was appointed OBE in the 2012 New Year Honours.
