Rebecca Shuttleworth, 25, of Cottingham Road, Manchester, was convicted by a jury at Birmingham Crown Court. | |
Her partner Luke Southerton, 32, of Hagley Road, Birmingham, was cleared of murder but convicted of one count of child cruelty. | |
Shuttleworth was also convicted of four counts of child cruelty. | |
The pair, who had both denied the charges, will be sentenced on Tuesday. | |

Keanu's grandfather Richard Lampett told the trial, which began in December, he had seen bruises and bite marks on the boy's body. | |
He said he had taken photographs of bruising to Keanu's face in December 2009, more than a year before his death. | |
During the trial, the jury heard a 999 call was made at about 19:40 on 9 January and emergency crews arrived to find Keanu, also known as Kiwi, collapsed on the sofa at Southerton's flat. | |
He was confirmed dead later that day. | |
The trial heard many of the injuries found on the toddler's body could have been inflicted up to 48 hours before the emergency call was made. | |
An inquiry has started into the role all agencies that came into contact with Keanu and his family, including social workers and the police, played before his death. |
