Version 0 of 1.

Three days after a junior partner quit his shaky coalition, Greece’s conservative prime minister, Antonis Samaras, shuffled his cabinet on Monday, giving the leader of the Socialist party, Evangelos Venizelos, the dual role of deputy prime minister and foreign minister while keeping Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras in his post. On Friday, the junior coalition partner, Democratic Left, withdrew to protest Mr. Samaras’s unilateral decision to close the state broadcaster, ERT. Pantelis Kapsis, a former government spokesman and newspaper editor, will try to overhaul ERT as the leader of a new ministry. The conservative lawmaker Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be in charge of administrative reforms and faces the difficult task of pushing through civil service layoffs, which have been demanded by Greece’s international creditors.
