All three will be sentenced on Friday.
Mr McMahon, a former civil servant, was last seen alive on 18 October when he took a taxi to Swinhoe's home in Walker.
His body was found in the chest freezer in Collins' flat.
A post-mortem examination revealed he had suffered a number of injuries, including gouging to the eyes.
