Local resident Sam Williams said he was first on the scene before the police arrived and saw two people on the floor, with a single barrel shotgun lying on the floor with two used cartridges either side. Sam Williams, 33, who lives in Seabreeze Avenue, said he was first on the scene after hearing a gunshot.
"The woman was close to her car with a fatal shotgun wound to the chest," he said. "I thought it was a car back firing. I got up and started going downstairs and my partner was heading outside when I heard another shot," he said.
"Then I heard her [his partner's] screams. She was on the phone to the police. I approached the scene and there was a weapon on the floor."
He recalled: "The woman was close to her car with a fatal shotgun wound to the chest.

"I updated the police of the situation when they arrived and they took over." "There was a single-barrel shotgun and two cartridges on the floor. I recognised the lady and her car and I recognise the gentleman's car.
He added that he had seen the woman around the area quite a lot. "I didn't want to go too close or touch anything. The lady's car engine was running but the police told me not to touch anything."
